healthy headsup
first i'd like to apologize for the other update that i deleted i was with some friends. dunno what i was thinking :p and now here's the health update http://www.healthandage.com/html/res/com/ConsSupplements/Omega6FattyAcidscs.htmlsome important points - omega 3 and omega 6 are both essential to brain and bodily functions - they cannot be manufactured within the human body, so must be obtained from food - the problem with american diets is the utter lack of balance (30:1 omega6-omega3 ratio) - this imbalance leads to heart disease, cancer, asthma, arthritis, and depression - this does NOT mean you should avoid meat, but rather seek a balanced intake of both types of essential fatty acids - in this publication it points out that the anti-inflammatory evidence for omega3 is much stronger than that of omega6 - since this publication, further studies have shown that omega6 is actually pro-inflammatory in the amounts that americans typically consume, whereas omega3's role in anti-inflammation has been further consolidated | | Friday, May 14th, 2004 | | 8:57 pm |

weird thoughts in my head today
this is the stuff that surfaced today from the crapola of experiences that i call myself while exercising in the gym... of all places (*_*a) 1. If I were an alien overmind running the Human experiment on this planet Earth, I'd be so tempted to push the little red button labelled "Reset" right now. 2. In Chinese: "Life does not have to be perfect, but there must be growth, in order to be called living." | | Wednesday, April 21st, 2004 | | 5:47 pm |

here's my wildly inaccurate predictions on taiwan
1. obviously one or possibly both of the political parties have deep ties with china 2. the assassination attempt was staged, but it could be by either party, or by a third interest (china) 3. unfortunately, the situation right now is too volatile for any amount of truth 4. if a recount is held, chen will lose, and a pro reunification president will be elected 5. if a recount is not held, the island will fall into unrest (having been born there, i know we're absolutely stupid enough to do this) 6. once the island is in a state of chaos, china will attempt to move in militarily and install their administration, either by their own people or that of the native disputing challengers (depending on who was on their side to begin with). or not... :3 | | Saturday, March 20th, 2004 | | 10:32 am |

Bus thoughts x.x
i really should do work while i'm riding on the bus, cuz if i don't, i start thinking about things... but unfortunately, i had too much time on my hands today on the bus, so i thought about two things amongst many others 1. the more sinister, modern interpretation of "e pluribus unum," where the image of america is no longer that of social homogenization, or even that of accepting differences, but more in accordance of the far narrower context of its appearance on the dollar bill, for the advant of capitalism, that out of the many cultures and dissimilarities will be forged a single, dominating force of trade and currency. 2. the part in the LotR where the lady of the woods passes the test presented to her by the ring, that it's saying even the epitome of natural and seemingly immortal beauty, the elves, can cross the line to embody the unnatural beauty of evil by becoming eternal, unchanging, and shirking the relatively ephemeral. yah... something like that -_- |
